Le cinéma pour toutes et tous.
KIPEPEO FILMS
WHO WE ARE
Kipepeo Films is a French organization that uses cinema as a tool for expression, creation, and social impact. We work with children, young people, underserved communities, and emerging filmmakers to give them the opportunity to tell their own stories, develop their skills, and share their vision with the world.
Through workshops, collaborative projects, and support for the production of short films, feature films, and documentaries, we empower participants to explore the full range of filmmaking — from writing and directing to sound and image production. Our initiatives also include public screenings, cultural events, and partnerships that connect local creators with international audiences.
At Kipepeo Films, we believe in the power of cinema to foster inclusion, creativity, and cultural exchange, and we strive to make filmmaking accessible to all while highlighting the richness of local and African cultures.
WHAT WE DO
MOVIE WORKSHOPS
Through this initiative, Kipepeo Films creates opportunities for participants of all ages — children, youth, and underserved communities — to tell their own stories and share their unique perspectives through cinema. By engaging in workshops and collaborative film projects, they gain creative skills, build confidence, and explore the power of their own voice.
Our programs also support emerging filmmakers, providing guidance and resources for the production of short films, feature films, and documentaries. These projects foster cultural exchange, highlight local and African cultures, and encourage diverse stories to reach broader audiences.

EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Through our workshops, Kipepeo Films invites participants to explore and share their own perspectives on topics that matter to their communities, such as entrepreneurship, health, history, and cultural heritage. The themes are chosen in collaboration with local participants to reflect their interests and experiences.
We also organize public screenings of the films created during our workshops, along with discussions and events in Africa and France, to foster cultural exchange, dialogue, and greater awareness of the stories and talents of local communities.
