New workshop about Entrepreneurship

Our new workshop has just finished ! It took place in Bagamoyo (Tanzania) with our partner the Mangesani Education Centre. A group of 14 to 17 years old youth engaged into this two months workshop.
After we had done field researches to enlight new topics, “Kipepeo films” has launched a new programme for youth about entrepreneurship and innovation. We seek to empower youth being successful members of their communities by teaching them both entrepreneurial and artistic skills.
We truly think that art-related activities are important for a child’s confidence and developp critical and creative thinking. We provide them a supportive environment to build their sefl-esteem.
Over the one or two months workshop, children and youth are trained in entrepreunarial skills including researching, decision-making, proposal writing, self-expression. To accompany these activities, they also learn storytelling, storyboarding, acting, and some craft activities.
At the conclusion of the training programme, the students write a short movie script. The movie is shot including the local film industry’s participation.
